- Do you take the homes you build to lock up?
We don't typically take the homes to the lock up stage. It is best to hire a general contractor from your own area to finish the home for you. We have taken homes to the lock up stage if they are located near our building site.
- What options are available to us for log home plans?
We recommend the log home designer that we have used for many years. Ron Dirkson is very knowledgeable about the entire log home industry. He has worked with many clients via internet and the phone. A basic set of plans typically cost 1.00 per square foot based on all floors. 3D plans are also available. $1.35 per square foot for a full set of blue prints plus 3D exterior views. 3D interior and exterior plus plans is $1.85 per square foot.
He can even use your own photo's for true landscape and surroundings views.
- What is the resale like for log homes?
Typically log homes having a higher resale value than conventional homes. Log homes elicted a rustic elegance that is very inviting to most people.
